Just read through an article, apparently Chris Wilson has "ceased" his role at GGG
Unfortunately, I did not see much about the reason why.

I wonder how this will shape future content and game direction...

Been a year already. He was “accidentally” removed on paper last year.

Yeah he's gone for a while now, there was a "leak" with various claims few months ago, i think pretty much everything turned out to be true (at least for the poe2 EA stuff)
As always on the internet, take it with a grain of salt

1) i was right about the game being just an mtx cashgrab destined to fail. poe2 will NEVER be what poe1 was
2) i was wrong about jonathan, i actually thought hes a nice guy. im okay with being wrong on this, i deserved it. never trust a fat person
3) i was wrong about chris, i actually thought hes a psychopath. im NOT okay with being wrong on this, he looks like one and i cant believe hes actually a nice guy. of all the things i dont believe in that post, this is the biggest one
4) i dont care if that ts_lily was a guy, still would. looks like a trans version of sniperwolf so i propose we call her transssniperwolf. was she a guy? i dont care
