Been trying to motivate myself to level a monk.

From my understanding, there are a couple of options for quick leveling.
I leveled my sorc using the widowhail setup with lightning arrow into gas arrow with ignite.

I believe there is also a pillar of the caged God setup as well?
Would this be better for leveling a monk?

What are your leveling tips?

Pillar with cold/light runes.

Passives just stack str. Look for some freeze build up nodes/jewels

Meginords belt
Greymake helm
Fox armor
Ms boots

Every 10 levels look to upgrade rings, anmmy and gloves with plus to attacks. Set up hoi/polc ring combo or hoi/hot combo for massive clear in act 2.

Auto attack in act 1. Til ice strike. Martial tempo, then whatever.


Setup bell, charged staff and you’re basically set.

I myself just spend 1 ex on staff early
Then at lvl 28 i get best staff for 1 exalt / best es/evasion body armour
Then do the same at lvl 48
For the rest cap res 30 ms boots blablabls

With leveling gears, getting from 1-60+ (completed the campaign) is a breeze for any char - not just for the monk with Ice Strike.

Leveling gears:

Helm - Goldrim (30+ all res)
Chest - Enfolding Dawn - 100 spirit (5-15 all rest)
Amulete - The Everlasting Gaze
Ring 1 - Polcirkeln
Ring 2 - Life and res
Belt - Midnight Braid for mana recoup
Boots - MS, life, and res

Weapon - get the highest DPS of the Quarterstaff as you can according to your level
1-12 - buy a white one from vendor and craft it
12-20 - look for dps up to 68+
20-30 - look for dps up to 176+
30-40 - look for dps up to 250+
40 and up look for dps up to 300+

Gems as soon you can equip:

Ice strike - make sure to quality it (only 4 links is needed for leveling).

Tempest - make sure to quality it (only 4 links is needed for leveling).

Herald of Thunder - make sure to quality it.
