New to POE. What's your guess on how many people will continue playing current league season after reset?

17? Idk where you got that number. It's definitely 22.

My guess is a lot will that are more casual, anyone who has completed all content will probably play the new season/content. If the content isn't game changing enough I could see people falling back to their original characters or waiting for the next season/release after a month or so tho.

i cant see why anyone would want to play current EA season after a reset, esp since the next reset is going to be the *actual* standard that all future leagues funnel into. i believe the current EA economy is going to be isolated, no value or changes besides maybe some nostalgic ppl playing it for kicks here and there

How long are the league seasons typically?

This. I wont touch EA once real seasons with real standard begin. You won't even be able to do testing for new characters eventually as more characters / items get introduced, the EA Standard will just fall further and further behind
