Heard people say the polcekrin ring isn’t needed in endgame

This true? If so do I need to change any passives etc

If you have good cold damage from your gear you shouldn't be needing polcekrin ring.

passive nodes like Essence of the mountain help with this, it can be annointed on your amulet (Despair,Ire,Suffering) or path your way up there.

Need high enough damage per hit and freeze build up
If needed get thw extra cold dmg damage in ascendacy
And in the begining of the tree you get another 5% extra col dmg with freeze build up

Use herald of thunder with cold infusion and glaciation, paired with herald of ice

Test 8t out like that if you dont get herald of thinder buff very very consistently then you need more shock chance
Notw that herald of thunder cant sbock by itself

Also keep in mind that switching polcerking ring for dual herald setup will take 1 more gem slot and 30 more spirit ,

it's true. but make sure you have x-x cold on weapon and an x-x cold damage on atks ring

essence of mountain like mentioned before really adds a crapton more than you would expect

a single falling thunder on even a small-ish mob should restore your charges once you hit a nice amount of cold dmg
