Been trading with people who are not sure on how to receive/send tradelinks when buying orbs.

This is how

Go on the poe2 trade website to find your newly listed item:
https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Standard

Put the item name in the search bar first, then open the filters, type in your actual PoE ACCOUNT NAME, not char name (example: bigs666#0553)



It will then show all the items for sale on your account, so in the search bar you then type in the actual name of the item you've listed for sale, it will single out that item and you can now click on the "Copy Whisper" button, you can now paste your trade link.



So if you wana buy 500 exalts, you put a random rare item to sell for 500exalt, copy the trade link and send it to your seller.
