I have been using an armor with 151 energy shield on it. With it equiped I have a total ES of 755 with all my bonuses.

I just bought a armor with 3 ex that has 570 energy shield on it. When I equip it my energy shield is 720.

Da fuq!?!

hows that possible?
did it have int or something that is required and u lost access to another piece of gear?
was the 151 es chest a unique?

I think my character is bugged?

Took off all my gear and have 0 energy shield. Putting gear back on does nothing. I stay at 0. Only piece of gear that adds is my helm which is a corrupted atxiris disdain and it takes me up to 605 when put on.

Ok I figured it out. It was a bug but not what I thought. I had eldritch battery on which turns off your energy shield. But atxiris disdain is bugged and still gives energy shield. So I shouldn't have had any energy shield which is why the armors weren't really doing anything. I turned off eldritch battery and my energy shield is now 2556 with my new armor. It's only 1299 with the old armor
