My whole account got banned because I talked shit in the global chat. Is it a permanent ban? If not how long is this ban?

freedom of speach does not prevent one from expressing oneself with respect and courtesy.
today many people don't know how to express themselves without verbal violence and aggression

Typically you can appeal a first offence by contacting support and genuinely owning up to your behaviour. However, if your account has had previous mutes or warnings (or is conpletely fresh) the ban will stay.

Or maybe those kids should develop tougher skin. Or maybe they shouldn't be playing with grownups. Or maybe kick their asses outside. Either way it isn't anybody else's place to monitor themselves for anybody else. Courtesy would dictate otherwise. But not necessitate the need to be so.
