In path of exile, your character emits light.
In path of exile 2, not only does your character emit light, if you move your mouse over the globes there is a light reflection.

This is the Luciferian doctrine, that the light is in mankind, through pantheosis they will become as god.
GGG's secret bible that they've talked about basing their game design choices on, is in fact Luciferian doctrine.

As an exile you challenge and defeat the gods.
