I don't know... I have just started this morning, spent like 2 hours give or take and my experience was very rough as a Warrior.

Dodging feels clunky, sometimes dodges without me wanting the character to dodge.. without even pressing space.

Having to constantly sidestep, dodge, block every Elite attack while having not more than 5% uptime on Attacking... 95% spent to just avoid getting annhilated.


Anyone else having similar experience with melee in general in this game, or it could be just at the very very beginning.


I haven't played PoE1 in the past 2-3 years but I still see not much in common between both games as a gameplay feel. It's just skill tree and league-specific content that is similar.

Am i doing something wrong or :D?

This is how poe2 is, especially amplified in the early game.

My advice would be to over level, work on gear upgrade and get to the point your damage carries you.
Otherwise treat it like a dark souls game.

Yea may be just what this game is about... I remember poe1 i was able to 1 shot whole packs with a click and move on .. here the case definitely not the same lol.
