So my PoE account is 11 years old. The mail adress I have linked to it, doesnt exist anymore, so I wanted to make a new one - thats mandatory for linking accounts, in my case PC and XBox accounts.

The thing is: To change your E-Mail adress, its required to click on a link sent to your current E-Mail adress (which doesnt exist anymore). Did they think this through?

Can you make the same email? So if yahoo or gmail, just remake the name and send the link?

Have you tried emailing support and explaining this?

I had the same thing happen to me with Guild Wars 2.
I emailed them about the situation, they asked some security questions, and I got it changed.

You should contact support.

Keep in mind support is flooded atm.

Its GGG, just send them a mail. They will likely ask you for info on your payment options used or something to confirm its you. But their support is very helpful usually. Might be a bit slow to respond right now tho, for obvious reasons.

I did contact support already. I dont think they'll answer in the next two weeks tho.

Would be interesting if I can download and start EA without linking my accounts now and still receive my old MTX from both plattforms later on when I am able to finally link them?
