Lost ark was pretty fun, western release got announced some time back

Although not sure if it has battle royale or not, i quit when western release announced.

Here you go my friend. You can even play it from your mobile, it's cross platform. Probably has auto questing as well. It's just what our friend here (the creator of the thread) is looking for. The game is suitable all the way from "Travis" the toddler next door down to your grandma.

Oh yeah. I don’t think they’re doing a western release anymore? Last I heard about it, but maybe they are now?

Amazon snagged the rights to publish lost ark from smilegate was the last that was said about it afaik, and is slotted for a 2021 release.
and considering it's amazon, i feel like it will go through.

that's cool. The skills in that game looks pretty great and the pvp seems balanced, so it's exciting.

what worries me is that there seems to be p2w elements in the korean version, hopefully that's not brought over, but with amazon well i'll be surprised if it's not

The subscription is prob the most p2w part of it, as most things are like in wow, gated behind weekly content, abyss dungeon, weekly, raid, weekly etc with no way to refresh them, even with money.
So its like, yeah you can play for free, just like POE, but you would prob want some QOL things like map/stash tab.

also pvp/guild content is what i would call "fair" as in gear is balanced no matter your gear score.
