I just came off playing war hammer martyr, and THAT game is good value, especially on sale. Had a great time playing with a buddy on various seasons.

I'm not saying POE2 is bad, but atm it's just not the best...it's just new. It'll undoubtedly die down in a few weeks.



I wasn't no lifing it actually, was only playing a couple hours a day max, wasn't even done the campaign and had taken a couple days off. I went to respec my ascendancy (tested tempest caller and it felt kinda bad) and I was going to have 26 gold left over after 2 respec points lol (this is unrelated to any nerfs, just literal testing the node). I sell most items rather than DE for shards, but I changed my tree a couple times playing with different things the first few days and had plenty of gold until I respec'd literally hours before the patch.

TBH what's really weird is having major changes a week into launch. The cast on xx shit was so obvious that they did it on purpose, just like these fucked respec prices. It's all there so they can "listen to the community" and release "balance patches". It's weird, but it's literally like sandbagging content. The intricacies of their game are a complete contrast to such blatant and intentional bullshit, imo. They do this almost every league in poe, so I shouldn't really surprised at all. They would have had to do exactly 0 testing in the past 4 years to not realize these basic interactions.
