Noticed same thing - feel like im missing something

Hey guys, new here.

I've listed my item and can see it when I search my ID, however I do not see a drop down menu to select copy whisper. It only gives me the option to direct message.

Anyone know what is causing this?

The new "shop" screwed things up.

If you put the item in a premium tab instead of the shop.
You'll have the option to PM and do the trade like it was done previously (more like it anyway)
Choose either "In person (online)" or "In person (online in league)" and you'll see the PM button (see pics below).

I think that might be the best alternative atm?

I am sorry if I missed something, but if I put a random item to sell for 500divs, for which I will pay FG, then if I click the Direct Whisper button, the whisper will go to me. How to build a whisper that goes to me and can be copied for jsp 500divs seller?

So far my only way is to share my Valve acc name and ask 500divs seller to search for my 500divs worth crap by my acc name.

Can someone explain to me like I'm 5 why this is safe? We've been trading in d2 for years with minimal issues. Im asking because the first post on the poe trade forum literally says they will ban rmt with external sites/forum gold. I've personally have never been scammed on these forums and just wonder why the poe guys are wanting traders to post obvious external trades by posting a crap item for a rediculous amount of currency. Its like you want to risk getting banned vs taking the proper trading techniques we've been using for years. (Confirm player name, confirm jsp, trade item vs fg?) These can be done on discord or whichever you want to do.

It looks like they left only direct whisper, without opportunity to copy link…any advise how to fix?
