to be fair poe 1 was way more boring when it was in early access

I think it may just be you. I’m personally throughly enjoying this game and it blows D4 out of the water even in EA.

Was literally JUST telling someone that the tree is really basic - it's like going to a restaurant and seeing a fancy name for something, and it's really just a basic salad. The guys that are like "it's just you" are very likely following someone else's build and didn't make their own (no hate), and haven't spent much time looking at the tree and pathing options. I do think it will get there, but the current tree, and to an extent gearing options and gems, are relatively bland. I'm playing stormweaver and pathing my own tree/build and switched to archmage after the last wave of nerfs and I absolutely agree there just aren't a lot of options. If anyone actually spends time CREATING a build, and not just spouting off bUt1500sKilLPoInTs they'll see the tree is very basic, almost linear. It's ok, it's EA, but it LOOKS like way more than it actually is.

I've been slow to get into it after patches dropped so frequently and harshly - people will say it's bc GGG is "in tune", but I would say if they were in tune, they wouldn't need to do such massive adjustments so frequently (which I believe they already planned). I get EA things will change, but it's changing way too fast.

Gameplay in maps gets much better than campaign, but the 1 portal thing is kinda sucky, though gives me a tiny taste of that hardcore adrenaline (I'm a fan of 6 portal defense).

IMO they should be focused on getting some of the missing content released rather than "fixing" stuff that seems like was broken on purpose.

2nd patch in a row my build is getting shit on btw -.-

i've spent a good couple hours optimizing my build over the course of the last few days. passive tree is dope, never used anyone else's build in any way. game is fun, my build is dank as fuck and i haven't seen anyone copy it quite the same way.

Maybe I expressed myself incorrectly, but the skill system has been made unnecessarily complicated.
For example, with Skill A, I have limited supporters available. Why do I have to pull supporters from Skill B to socket them into Skill a ? I don't need that much brainpower for PoE 2 either.
