nope, it is what it is, game feel harder than it should
theres no way you should take 5 fucking minutes to kill a boss and avoid 150 attacks to not get one shotted, thats ridiculous

It's just a new game—you’ll naturally feel a bit lost at first. Honestly, it’s normal not to know what to do right away. But if I had to guess, you’re probably getting frustrated over nothing. Take your time, read through everything, and enjoy the experience. Don’t trash-talk the game just because you’re not willing to put in the effort to understand it.

Most of the so-called "frustrated rage-quitters" don’t even make it to the maps. And when you check their gear, it’s all white or magic trash, bad or missing support gems, no charms, and so on. If you’re only playing the game halfheartedly, it’s no surprise you’re struggling.

E: bosses are not taking 5 minutes to kill so far. idk about the endgame stuff but right now there are people 1shoting stuff allready.

thats not the case, im a poe1 player and I know the basics to this game

I had to ask for help in a boss where he would one shot me NO MATTER HOW I MOVED, literally. I tried for 30 times before I asked for help, and he would just one shot me every time, doesnt matter how I moved on the damn arena, he would straight run to me until he caught me

thats just an example, but I bought some good items for my level, like really good bow dmg (now that there are advanced players who can sell them) and it was way hard, I managed to kill them but the day I have to kill them with a crappy gear because theres none on the market, I wont be able to kill them, just because it takes literally 5-10min to kill them, and avoiding attacks is fine until you run out of potions

What I’ve read from other players is this: try to stop comparing it to PoE1—once you do that, the game starts to feel much better. Think of it as a completely new game to either enjoy or not enjoy. While it’s helpful to understand the “basics,” so much has changed that comparing the two doesn’t make much sense.

For example, do you check the item shop every level? They sell rares now, and 90% of my leveling gear came from there. Those were HUGE upgrades. Crafting with orbs is pretty rare at this stage; I only craft if I find a really good magic item and regal it to see if I hit a decent random stat. Beyond that, exalted orbs are much better spent on trade for higher-quality gear in PoE2 than trying to craft it yourself.

I’ve also faced bosses where I had to swap charms—like using anti-poison or fire resistance—to survive certain attacks. Play it smart, adapt to the challenges, and you’ll have a better time. And stop thinking like "zoom zoom poe1 letsgo"

I’m enjoying the challenge. There is. Sense of accomplishment when you beat “x”. Having a lot of fun so far.

Tried a ranger with lightning rod and arrow and died maybe once to poison gas. Not sure why you die so much, maybe no evasion or too low life?

Buy a dualstring bow for 1exalt around lvl27-29 so you shoot 2 arrows instead of one!
