when was it bannable in D2? Never, that's when. You could openly talk about d2jsp in game too. While d2jsp was pretty much required to trade D2, barely anyone did it in PoE. Look how dead PoE forums were anyway, as opposed to their own forums or reddit

afair, d2 used to ban rmt, untill they decided many years after and after many ban waves to allow it. We were not ''allowed'' to mention d2jsp in d2, before d2r.

d2JSP is not RMT and according to blizzard themselves d2jsp does not violate d2s rules. Idk about 3 or 4 and they aren't going to ban people for giving a item and not getting one back otherwise everyone playing couch co-op or helping a friend would get a false ban. Fearmongering, don't be stupid and keep your mouth shut and you will have zero issues.
