Diablo 2 Resurrected is basicly Diablo 2. And... it is not totally fair to compare a 25 years old game with 2 games from these days. From its time Diablo 2 was the best and without that we would not have PoE2 or D4 today.



Poe 2 is enjoyable grind (so far).

Diablo 4 while more casual in same ways but considering the whole story of Diablo 4 items:
- At the start there was 200 different useles stats on each item that you had to evade to find that 2-3 that is useful. Unique item stats were almost totally trash all. Stupid item power / sacred / ancestral system... Useless white and blue items. Yellow had some use.
- They reworked the loot system, only items with red star mattered, but they was so rare. At this point uniques are a bit better but even yellow items are useless with the blue and white.
- They reworked once agian and every ancestral is coming with a star, but so extremly rare, feels like they aren't even in the game. White, blue, yellow items aren't even dropping anymore in end game, only the salvage material you would get from them. Many uniques are still trash.

So... Considering all these factors - yeah, I gave million chances for D4, waiting for miracle - the explosion doesn't matters if it is brown and stinky. That is my opinion.



If you have some experience with ARPG (Diablo 1-2-3-4 / MU etc style of games) you will figure out almost everything slowly without any guide, wiki, video etc. But we are in the future, you can use Google, Youtube, poe forum, this forum etc anytime.

I would say try it.

Gameplay poe2. Only thing d4 has going for it is the iconic storyline they're trying to extend.

Diablo 4 is trash.

The Diablo 4 (and Diablo 2) cinematics are the best game cinematics in the world. That is not a question. And yes, the story telling actually high tier as well, really playing with emotions if you let it do it.

There's some environmental aesthetic elements from D2 as well. For example the area where the worm boss is, it's literally maggot lair. There's also tombs with chests that have like 1 gold piles around them similar to D2 tombs.

Just play whatever suits you tbh.

These results might be a bit biased because its in the poe2 section, but it seems like POE2 is a far better game than Diablo 4.
Been out for only 3 days and it outshines Diablo 4 in every aspect

I also said iconic. I figured that was a given it was referencing the first 2 games. The only reason they're trying to continue the series is to capitalize off their success.
