on PoE1 forum?
Oh, fair, I was looking at the PoE2 forum as that's the game we're talking about. Let them play PoE1 if they think it's too hard then. No issues.

Difficulty is fine but I'd prefer if trash mobs were a little weaker + rare monsters a little stronger to offset. Its annoying to have to hit every trash 2-3 times and if they surround you, even weakest trash, you're dead lol

also colossus boss, reach 20% life - automatic one hit KO me, several times XD

As someone who had never touched poe1 I’m getting my cheeks clapped. But game is super fun in spite of the difficulty (probably partly because of it).

I love there is skill in the game play as opposed to purely making the right build

The difficulty is a bad curve and too hard at lower levels for enjoyment.

I am very curious how many people who claim poe2 is 10/10 will play it for hours every day.
These non-gamers who give their opinion are irritating.
If you aren't neglecting your family, spending 16 hours a day on the PC. You shouldn't get a say.

e- I have tens of thousands of hours on poe 1.
these 1 hour a day sallies don't know what a good game is.

e2- I Have PROOF!!
Steam Reviews

Showing 14,866 reviews
Over 10 Hours played: Showing 2,214 reviews
Over 16 Hours played: Showing 172 reviews

Seeeeee it's horseshit hype train bandwagoning...
People are going to say PoE2 is the best thing under the sun, then drop it like a hot potato.

It's not difficult

There's nothing hard in kiting some white mobs in a small arena. It's just repetitive and boring

Maybe stupid people enjoy such gameplay loop - but most dont.
Moving slow like a snail is just boring.

Choice could come from level 1, but no. They havent figured this out yet.

The difficulty is objectively NOT in the "right spot" for ARPGs. It's definitely the most difficult ARPG ever made.

It's different. It's ok that you like it and that many people like it, but it doesn't make you a cool gamerkid69420 for liking it. Different tastes.

It might be in the right spot for the devs and their intentions, but it's extremely different from most ARPGs and it's to be expected that many people will be checked out soon because it doesn't scratch the same itch. I'm sure it's still going to be a successful game and that some aspects will be improved throughout early access.

Personally, I find the boss fights really cool. It's the farming through zones that I am just not clicking with in PoE2. It's clunky as fuck, I have to do so many manipulations on monk to get a semblance of "feel good" moments. Yet I'm shitting on bosses so hard I barely engage with the mechanics. It feels all over the place, the cast times on skills, the extreme slow when casting while moving, the dodge roll recovery time... Those all feel pretty bad for me. I also CANNOT fucking stand how much running (SLOWLY) there is in zones. Especially if you intend to clear a few objectives, you end up backtracking and staying in zones forever.

I trust GGG and their designers, but I'm definitely not hooked on PoE2 yet and that's also fine. I've got a combined maybe 35000 hours of ARPG time across all ARPGs and so far PoE2 doesnt scratch the ARPG itch the same way the others do (yet).

This is like Diablo 2 levels of loot, it's good.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this tho. I think they nailed the loot so far. Upgrades feel meaningful. Rare items are back in business and I love it.

Campaign bosses are going to need a difficulty adjustment or at least allow for a limited number of revives if the game wants to preserve a casual audience. Mobs are already challenging; bosses easily one shotting you if you have slower reflexes is going to deter many people with limited time from wanting to play the game.

unfortunately the amount of bitching on reddit is gonna make GGG buff loot drops (Looks like they might have already). They just want D3/D4 levels of loot, must get 20 legendaries from 1 boss. People are also quick to forget that you had to use a loot filter in PoE due to amount of shit that dropped.
