I think you’re right, one or the other is going to have to die.
Probably what happens is poe1 shit gets merged into poe2 as “legacy” shit on standard. Problem kinda solved, while they force feed us poe2.
Looking a lil too much like d4c at least the 20 seconds that I watched.
ggg did poe really well (imo, played off/on since like anarchy) all the way through, so I do believe theres a chance for the gameplay to be good.

Also, afterthought, and you kind of hit on it - the games evolution has always brought something “new” every 3-6 months, whether it’s item overhaul, chase uniques, meta change up, end game etc.. like you said, finding the right starting point will be important - they need to basically Walter White this shit, and by that I mean it’s gotta be spot fuckin on. Not too little, not too much. However launch goes, I do believe they’ll get in their groove, but we now have tasted if all these leagues and mechanics, there’s really no going back.
Whatever happens it’ll be 1000x fucking times better than d4 at launch, and cheaper
