Wondering if anyone knows how to enable advanced/debug logging on d2r?

I had an idea the other night that if the game logs things like items / item stats, maybe I could go into a game on my mule, hover over or pick up each item in the stash and then write a script to scrape the log file and produce a FT list with the relevant info.

I'm guessing they probably don't log detailed info but I figured i'd ask here. Anyone know how to enable debug logging on the client or have any input about this log scraping idea?
