Looking to learn a language. I have next to 0 experience with this.

I messed around with HTML for like a month about 15 years ago. I bet I could relearn everything I used to know in 10 minutes with youtube videos.

If you could leave your opinion about this and a link or 2 where I can learn this language, I'd appreciate it.

What kind of apps? Mobile apps? Desktop apps? Web apps?

Unless you want to write android or ios specific I would try Xamarin.

Thank you. I'll do a few Google searches to see where I can learn this. If you know a particularly good website, I'd love to know
