hey guys, pretty simple. I am trying to run a windows XP on my virtual box.
but i cant seem to connect to the internet. I have downloaded the intel driver. Pro2k3xp_32.. still unable to connect. anyone have any ideas?

Assign ip//subnet mask//default gateway.
Right click on LAN in network->properties->internet protocol->properties.
I think virtual machine has to know where it will seek for way out on internet, and you are giving it with default gateway(ip adress of your router).

Forgot to mention this will work if you have all settings in router.
If not, you will manually need to set up DNS adresses aswell, and if you dont know it, you should ask your ISP for it.

this is all in virtualboxes documentation, and you have barely provided any info here about your problem. either put in more effort or pay someone to screenshare with you and fix it

He managed to get it working.
Problem probably was that he used bridge connection as original connection, and he needed to turn on bridge on VM aswell.
