So I just want to be able to run a 24/7 channel in d2, which I mean, requires almost 0 computer to run steady.

So I am looking for the cheapest crap dedicated server I can find for as a low price as possible.

I figured I would post here since only ppl using dediservers are "programmers" or private server hosters I guess.

Try using Amazon Web Services. Its cheap and pay-by-the-usage.

If that's all it'll be doing, then just get a $50 laptop with a broken lcd on that online auction site that turned into asterisks when I typed it. As long as it's functional and got a vga port you're good to go.

I've thought about this aswell and might actually set that up, problem is keeping it online during thunderstorms and whatnot.

Only real solution to that would be to not run it out of the house, and instead get a VPS to host it from.
