a few months ago, i was watching one of louis rossmann's vids. he was explaining how he set prices and why he charges so much for simple tasks. he made the point that when it comes to getting paid to perform some task, the price you set depends on your opportunity cost, not the actual task itself. if you lowered your rate in order to do simple tasks, then you'd be losing money to other tasks which take the same amount of time but pay more. i thought it was enlightening and made a lot of sense.
so to pick your rate, look at how much you get paid at your job. your time tutoring should be equivalent. since fg is severely more limited than USD, increase your fg rates to compensate.
