Hello fine d2jsp people.

This is my first post in YEARS, and because this is a community that I trust, I have come to you for some questions.

I've bought a Nexbox a95x from an individual in the area who was clearly a hacker. To elaborate that claim, he has a video on business page on how to "begin" hacking on your own time. I will not provide a URL as I'm sure it's not permitted on this website. My question is whether or not this device can be tampered with, as I have seen some signs on the inside of the hardware, and if it is possible to what extent could I be affected?

The whole situation gives off a red flag, but I'd like some confirmation from someone who knows a bit about this stuff.

Looking forward to hearing back from ya!

Anything can be tampered with, both hardware and software. You'll need to be more specific in your questions before anyone actually give you a helpful answer.

If you feel frisky Google custom amlogic firmware, you'll probably find a few different custom versions of android that run on that box.

If he is a wannabe hacker I'm sure he fooled around with it if it was used or open box. Is there anything you can easily do to detect this? Probably not if it was some sort of malware. I doubt anything physical would need to be changed to hack this device, but if it was you could check for places he would have pried it open or stripped screws.

Most of those guys that are making "how to hack" videos are 12 years old.

The real "hackers" don't have time for that bullshit, because they are building their super tin foil hat in free time, not videos nor the android TV hacks

You are safe from them, goverment is not ;)

This would be accurate. Anything that uses circuits or has a motherboard is hackable and can be tampered with. Link me the url of this person and I can tell you immediately if he knows what he is doing and if your in any harm.
