i'm having trouble deciding which program i should enroll in,
i basically want to learn the fundamentals of coding and reading/ writing in languages like c#, python, javascript etc.
eventually i want to indulge in game dev. so i'm assuming a grasp on programming is essential.
of the options available which should i choose to relate to what i'm looking for?

is this even the right area of study for me?

HALP I R NEWB

Yea it sounds like what he really wants is computer science.

Networking = switches routers
General probably won't really cover what he wants very well and probably wouldn't get him the job he wants.
Software development might cover programming pretty well but he should research the specifics of that program before committing to that option.

Computer Science was my main interest but I don't see it offered as a program at this specific school.

Computer Science is the only way in USA.

IT degrees are mostly offered by scam for colleges like Devry and places like that.

Also, while college degrees are good, you can get a high paying job without one if you have a good portfolio of things like apps you created on your own.
