Is there just not enough interest, or what? Maybe it's caused by the demographics on the site, but I'm just surprised to see no one posting about it, no one asking about, no sign that it's on peoples radars. I'd be happy to help jumpstart something if people wanted d2jsp to have it. Any thoughts?

I guess it would fall under the umbrella of the Programmers Haven sub-forum. You could always make a bold-red topic to get the discussion rolling.

There is not much interest. If you want to start something you should make a red bold topic and post some information/guide to get started.

look around PH and tell me how many threads in the past week would belong to game development. it should be your answer.

why add another subforum under PH? we really dont even need the existing ones.

Ok, well i have no problem getting the duscussion rolling since there at least a couple people who would enjoy reading/contributing.

Since game development is a specific category of programming, there are a ton of things that simply arent covered in the syntax and design of other languages or software projects. Ive been semi-serious about it for some time now, enough that I could easily post about some good starting points while also benefitting from bouncing ideas off of other developers.

Let me see what I can whip up.
