Im recently learning development in unity. It seems SO powerful and easy to make games quickly.
However at the moment, the tutorials Im following is only teaching games for pc.
Now I know the beauty of unity lies in its cross-platform-ability. So im just curious.
People always say oh its easy to write code once and you can easily put on other platforms. How easy is that exactly?
I mean is that something I should be worried about when making games? Should I have this in mind before starting to code what platform i want it on?
Basically im not asking you to tell me how to make the game cross platform im just asking how easy it is to do? and if it should be done from the very beginning or can i make the game and later easily make changes.

Well... im a IT manager, IT administrator and C++/C/C#/front+back-end web developer, blueprint, bash, perl, photoshop, lightroom, 3dsmax 2015 + V-RAY render, UT4 engine and with 12 yers exp. and i would recommend u to choose:
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 for mobile cross-platform:
https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/features/mobile-app-development-vs.aspx
- Unreal Engine 4 if u want to create a GZ games
(u can create FPS like counter strike without knowledge of C++ using blueprint ^^ little part of tutorial:
http://www.moddb.com/groups/unreal-tournament-developers/tutorials/ue4-blueprint
)
And yes... i do view projects in Unity but this engine is too weak for my requirements
