I am moving into a new estate with fibre. There are about 5 different providers of internet, but they all use the same wiring which they 'lease' off of another company. There is however one company that is about $15 cheaper than the others but it runs on L2 instead of L3, still claims to be able to provide 100/40 speeds.
Can someone please explain to me what L2 and L3 actually means? I've google but still don't understand, would you risk going for the cheaper on L2 or just pay the extra and go L3?
