I have written a book in Word, however I want to publish it as an Ebook.

I have tried to google and youtube, but I just got more confused.

Does anybody know if I need to get a Ebook program I have to rewrite my book in or how I could make my Word document match an Ebook layout.

Im trying to figure out how I make the transition from Word document to an actual Ebook? if that makes sense...

is pdf all I need?

You can just use word doc. When you upload it to be published, it will convert it to the specific file format.

You can also use pdf, html, ePub

Calibre can convert it to various formats, but you may need to make manual efforts afterwards.
