I came across this link: http://w3techs.com/technologies/overview/programming_language/all and I feel like the results are skewed by a lot of ancient websites that are sitting around on php. I'm wondering if there is a similar statistic for modern day websites, as I'm interested in knowing what the future of web pages will be run on (by popularity)

PHP, Perl, RoR, Python, C++ (not necessarily in that order)

Couple of C++ web based frameworks would be Wt or CppCMS
