Hello, my name is Mada and im quite new in this (last time when i did or try to make an website was like 10 years ago).
My sister owns an restaurant ( Germany) since a few years, she never tryed to make an website for it, but, recently she kindly asked me and i couldnt refuse her ,since it gives me the chance to learn something usefull.
Thus, i need few advices or answers.

1.I've already bought the website hosting + domain, and after i've read around i decided to start working with Joomla( not a fan of wordpress), is that wise?
2. Should i buy an already made Template or demo?Every part i've tryed to inform myself says that there are milions of free templates and i shouldnt do it... What do you think? (..)
3.Any sugestions / advices will be taken in consideration.

Depends what you are looking for.. If you aren't familiar with Joomla - i wouldn't get to invested in it.

Wordpress is a better CMS platform with better support, as is Drupal. WP / Drupal knowledge would be much more beneficial to you career wise - if you continue to make websites.

Templates aren't a bad thing if you know basic html / css. All I can say is that if you are using a template you should really try to make it your own in some way.

Joomla isnt too bad, ive build a few sites with it.

im assuming you have no html/css or any programming background?

I would suggest buying a theme for it, most of them arent more than like $50-100 bucks, as usually the purchased themes have more options built in.

i hope your sister is altleast giving you a little cash for your efforts.

Absolutly nothing unfortunatly.I've already got a free theme and started to work with it.. Pretty solid results till now... I'll have to tweak some things here and there and a major fail i did ( no ideea how to fix it ) and ill post the link for feedbacks and ideeas on how to improve it.

Ps: It's not about money.. Shes my sister after all.

Thanks for the feedback till now.

If you wanted to learn at least the BASIC fundamentals of HTML5 / CSS3 : http://channel9.msdn.com/Series/HTML5-CSS3-Fundamentals-Development-for-Absolute-Beginners

It'd probably help you grasp any changes you might want to make yourself to a template.

Someone has mentioned this series before on the forums and it really is great.
