I have an advanced diploma in game programming, but I can easily get diplomas in computer programming, and liberal arts. I need a total of 3 courses to get them both.

Is it worth it to spend ~$1000 to get those 2 diplomas? I plan on going for my master's for computer science, so should I not bother?

i have no idea what an "advanced diploma" is. as far as school is concerned, usually only the highest degree matters.

Not certain liberal arts will bring you anything helpful CS-wise, I could be wrong though (not even sure what it is anyway)

It could potentially benefit him during admissions review to the masters program though. Grad schools tend to look for diversity. Having a Liberal Arts major apply to their CS grad program could up his chances of admission. As long as you have the prerreqs for the program, your actual major doesn't really matter.

Depends on the school/grad program though. I know for many medical schools, having a biology degree doesn't really matter much. You could be pre med with a degree in basket weaving and have a better chance of getting in than the heavy bio degree.
