so i think i want to be a software engineer any one have any sites where i can start on this or programs that are good and free or cheap and a quick guide on how to start with this? idk if this is anywhere near understandble just post if u need more info i'll gladly answer any questions you may have to help me answer my question.

lots of free classes for introductory CS stuff located on the web

lots of tutorials online for pretty much any language you could imagine

lots of resources for how to get started everywhere

did you try google yet?

yes i did i just dont know what one to to choose and the idk what program each one uses

if you are REALLY lost then I suggest going for a computer science degree! (no bias whatsoever)

you can start by explaining what your coding experience is and why you want to be a software engineer

well i have little to none i took a clss in school couple years ago for like 2-3 weeks and got kickedo ut of that school i really liked the class. just wanna try out different stuff till i find what i wanna ado b4 i turn 18

2 weeks of an intro class is hello world and maybe some multiplication. that's a long stretch to wanting to become a software engineer.
