ok so u guys that know about windows and have opened up notepad and pushed F5 u can continue reading, the rest of u can go read about 432Hz music. have fun!
i want dat shit to print a customized date/time format so instead of 6:27 PM 4/29/2014 it will come out to like 14-04-29 6-27 u follow?
wat do i do, can i work with regional settings or regedit or do i have to hexedit notepad? lmk

You could do something silly like write a macro that inserts a custom time stamp after a key event or use something like PhraseExpress or AutoHotkey which would probably be something fairly straight forward.

Changing the format from Control Panel → Region and Language seems to make a difference too, so you are better off just doing this.

You can edit this from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International too, lol.

dont see a date+time line in regedit and regional is probably a simpler version
but wat is that macro stuff i hav no idea what ur talking about

why are you using notepad? if you wanna refresh often for log files or something, just use tail -f -n50 filename.txt

it was ok just a little messy, where do u have to use that "tail" ? like type in a shortcut to notepad.exe at the end of the target line? or in cmd? lol

change the stuff in date and time formats or just go in additional settings and customize it
