I just got a bot set-up on mIRC.

I am connected to the channel, I want to be in.

I have never coded anything before or written a script, so this is all very new to me.

I just want my bot to respond to a few commands (3-4) and send out the channels twitter/yt/fb info every few minutes.


I am not sure if what im asking for is a simple task...

Can somebody with the knowledge give me a hand or point me in the right direction please

Depends on the bot you're using or if it's a program you found we would need a language it's written in

the program is mIRC.

I believe this is the language... I found it under the 'Help' Tab for scripting.

IRC is written in a mixture of C/C++ in pure Win32 code and compiled under Visual Studio. It was originally compiled under Borland C++.

you missed the point. he's asking what language is the script needs to be written in, assuming your bot accepts scripts

And yes, the bot accepts scripts they just have to be either copy/pasted in or manually written.
