I quit last time because I didn't know what to write about.

Now that I have that, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EDIT THIS SITE!

It's really irritating not knowing what to do, and these small problems make you go crazy.

So I figure, why not just learn how to code and make an entire website yourself?

From another thread, I saw some good places to start. Can anyone give me a good estimate
of how much information I actually need to learn before I could be making websites semi-easily?

are you trying to code them yourself via html/css/etc or using things like wordpress? if the latter, jump straight in. if the former, you can start immediately, but it'll look like crap for a long time. as for functionality, it'll take a few weeks to start, months to be semi decent.

i'll 2nd this.

Wordpress is a really good starting point if you learn better by dissecting, as i do. Granted I didn't start with Wordpress, but there wasn't a Wordpress 10 years ago.

I'm using it right now but so many things are making me angry.

How did you learn from it bit by bit? Look at bits of code every now and then?

Already using it, great website :)

I don't mind using WordPress, I just have a short temper with it a lot lol. I understand learning how to code
to the point where I can make good websites will take a while. Not to mention, I need to make apps too
