Here's an idea. I have an i7 laptop and a tower gaming machine. But a lot of retro games I'd like to play don't work with windows 8.
What if, theoreticaly, I made my laptop a windows 98 machine.. would I be able to find the right drivers to utilize its capabilities? It's
an asus g74s, about 2 years old I think.. I wouldn't be against XP, either, if that was the only option. Or perhaps any version of Linux
with the right patches to use these older windows programs..?

why dont you use something like dosbox?

as for drivers, look online. i doubt newer laptops have drivers for win 98.
