I know its simple but I just need help with two minor things.

1. A Friend is writing a song for my website, so I want to have it automatically play when people join, and I don't want it restarting each time they change pages.

2. I want to make it kinda like a blog/tumblr style to where I can post a picture with a description/story. Only on a certain page tho, not the whole website. Maybe on the side of the blog page it can have a menu to where they can skip to certain folders/sections. ( I would like for people to share it to social medias and I would love if they could comment on it, without signing it, but having to enter a name)

Thanks in advance.
Feel free to pm me if you want.

I'm sorry I do not have FG to offer right now but I'm working on getting some.

I will not enable you with bad Web practice. And this is not as simple as you'd think, not sure how to do it with a cms but you'd need to have the song play on a single page then load in the new content using something like Ajax or another Javascript equivalent

Yeah I'm sure quiet piano music on about 30% volume is absolutely bad practice.
Not to mention the full music player will be right on the right side of the screen incase they wanna hit pause/mute/lower the volume.

While I respect the opinions, I am only searching for replies of those who will help.

Thanks, guys!

thanks for re-iterating this

@OP
There is no CMS that I know of that runs a site via ajax/javascript/jsonp. This is the future of web development I feel, but no steps by large CMS's have been made in that direction
this will not be an "easy" task for someone to custom code for you
you have less than a percent of a chance to get someone to code it for you from jsp who will do this for fg, so pull out your wallet if you're wanting this done for you.

If you wanted to be pointed into the right direction that's already been done, XMLHttpRequests are what you want to look into. These will make sure new content is loaded without having to go to another page and "break" the music that is playing (sites like soundcloud/spotify do this).
If you want this to be done for you you can keep bumping and give up in a couple of weeks when no one has responded or offer $ for this, which still there are few of us here that I know of that would do this.

Best of luck

When you ask for help.. Try to listen to what people tell you. They aren't lying when they say that having auto playing music is one of the worst practices possible.

My assumption is your site already isn't getting any hits, so adding music to a page probably won't hurt. For future reference though... Auto-playing music on a website is that fastest way to get people to leave your site.
