Does anyone know on macs how to compile /run programs like c++ on macs. I am trying to copy and paste code on my text editor and use terminal to compile it and it works but for some code like a "game" it doesn't work. How do I make it so that any kind of code for c++ will compile and run including simple games.

https://www.google.com/search?q=what+is+vm

you're trying to teach yourself huh? how's that going for you? asking questions, getting others to deliver the answers and then what have you learned? how to put dish in the dishwasher? put the dishwasher on? do you even know how to read the manual?

makes no sense. vm could stand for anything, therefore me googling that and knowing what to download and how it works on my own is stupid. troll somewhere else

I mean, you tell me. You said you managed to compile one C++ program but then failed to compile this mystery 'game'.

Did you just randomly download some source and try to compile it?

well i learned how to compile stuff on terminal from my text editor using the gcc command. Now i wanna know how i can compile other more complicated stuff like games. I found a ping pong game source code online and wanted to try and run it and see how it works. But i don't think the ping pong game will be run through terminal lol
