my kids deleted my desktop tab off the start thingy in my windows 8 so to get to my desktop im having to open my recycle bin and get there from there because I have no idea how to put it back in the app tab thing

if anyone knows how lmk LOL

1. Write Desktop in Start
2. Right-click on the result with the purple icon:

3. Click "Pin to Start". Your Desktop link will added to your Start menu so you can move it anywhere.

also, windows key + D in keyboard is a shortcut to Desktop
