Is there a way to extract code from a .exe?

The term would be 'decompiling' and yes, in some cases you can. https://www.google.com/search?q=decompile+exe+visual+basic

I can upload the file have to remake but i dont know where i can do so.

this is bascially a snapshot of what has to be able to happen in the program

for some reason i can get the text to go over but not the numbers nor can i get them add up





im so far behind in class becuase i had to miss the past two weeks, my grrandmother has been very sick and i just need some help getting caught up

this is due thursday and i dont live on campus at my school so its very hard to get help from teachers during their office hours


any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated

Do you know all the specific details of the assignment? Will your strings always be Text + price delimited by a single space?

Should be pretty easy to parse that using some built in string tools.

If you post your relevant source code people will be able to help much faster.

For the string length find the first instance where there is an integer, cut the word from that location to the right, change that into an int and do your calculations from there.
