Learning ASM / Memory reading/writing since a few weeks to get into games "hacking" .

I would like to know how to create your own specific GUI to add on an already existing online game. Would just like to be able to read memory stuff and put it in a new game window.
I actually don't have any games in mind to work with, let's just say for the moment that i want to add my own specific GUI to a mmorpg (guild wars, wow or whatever).

I don't know the correct keywords for that kind of information for google search, already tried things like "create specific GUI video games", "add custom UI" etc.. without success.

Would appreciate any links to tutorials that could explain a bit the basics, will dive into it myself but i'm not finding results on my own.
