Been googling reviews for about an hour now, and it seems that they're all mixed.
So far from what I've seen, the top is either, Bluehost, hostgator, or godaddy.
Apparently hostgator was fantastic, but has became unreliable for many customers?
Anyways, just curious as to what some of you would recommend.

I should also add that I'm willing to pay more for better service. Just something where I get the most of what I pay for, kind of deal.

Godaddy is what I was going to give a shot at. Though how flexible is it coding wise? Meaning do I pretty much have a ton of options on the way I'd like to lay out/script my site? Add forums etc. ((Assuming I paid more for the site to have enough space for that.))

Hostgator is not unreliable. They have awesome support, and it's pretty cheap.

I went with godaddy, I'll see how they are. Anyways I heard hostgator got bought out and was basically ruined ever since.

godaddy and 1&1 are around equal however 1&1 is smaller (obv) and I like hosts to have competition so if it's not a personal website I point them to 1&1 just to keep the market healthy

GoDaddy is a horrible host. Overpriced, limited control and flexibility, etc. GoDaddy is good if you don't know what you are doing. I would recommend bluehost/hostmonster.
