I need some basic help with converting roman numerals to ASCII code

Willing to offer fg for someone giving me a better understanding on the subject.

please also give some examples of roman numerals that you want to convert, also give examples of the ascii code you want to get
imo a roman numeral (a.e. "IV") is already a string consisting of ascii chars... i think i just don't understand yet, what you need
