For some reason i'm getting horrible lag spikes and stream videos that don't load when they used to crazy fast.

I don't know if it's my computer or ISP.

Could someone help me narrow down the causes?

Go to speedtest.net and check your connection speed.

If its slower than normal you may need to reset your modem and router.

oh by reset we meant just unplug them, then plug them back in.

With Direct Ethernet from Router into Laptop.

that at least looks acceptable (you'll have to compare with what you pay for, but it is totally believable that this what you should be getting).
so this is with an ethernet cable, and your previous tests where with wireless?
