Just started my computer science classes today.

I've spent the last 3 years learning c++ pretty much all self-taught, but starting out my classes I come
to find that we will be working with python.

Now I'm just a bit worried to be completely blindsided by this new language. So my question is if I should be able to
adapt the same concepts of c++ to help carry me through learning python or if there is anything thing I should watch out for?

Thanks

that's an intro class. you'll be fine. once you know one oop language it should be straight forward to learn python in a school setting.

Yeah, because of your background in c++, i'd say you're in better shape than most in that class!
