Where should I go for college? What are the best programming schools or game design schools in the US?

Well, do you want game design or programming schools?

You'll basically want to go to a college in a high tech-volume area (lots of tech businesses in the area).
I just got an email looking to recruit intel employees for programming-oriented jobs, a lot of them were in SoCal, Hillsboro Oregon Area, and Austin TX., if money isn't an issue or you want to travel I suggest going to school in one of these areas of the U.S. there are also a lot of places in Florida that are tech-oriented.

tldr: get your bscs degree where the jobs are

I don't know which to pick I really enjoy making 3D models but I also enjoy coding. I might actually just do Game Design.

They don't exist because no serious program for them exists. There are degree mills like DeVry/UoP and to a lesser extent Full Sail that will take you for all your worth all while giving you an "education" of dubious quality.
