I just got a brand new Latitude E6530, and the graphics were pretty shitty.

I tried to change the graphics driver from nvidia to intel, but nothing changed. I runned a pc diagnostics program from dell, and it installed the nvidia driver again, so i uninstalled the intel driver,
but the screen went black, so i re-installed it with a pure win 7 professional disk instead of the dell installation disc that came with the pc (i do not want all the extra programs from dell that's on it)
The graphics was very good after that, but the problem now is that i can't get all the other drivers installed. For example i can't get the wireless network to work, i even installed all the network adapter drivers from dell's official web page...

can anyone provide me with a full dell latitude e6530 driver list and i'll re-install the pc again with the pure win 7 professional disk (yes, i do have a win 7 professional licence key)

It seems to have nvidia optimus. Some newer laptops do have both nvidia and integrated intel, why are you all so surprised :P

I don't use windows so can't help with specifics, but basically you need nvidia drivers that support nvidia optimus - that will power on the integrated intel. Maybe also look into bios settings if that has anything about "optimus" support.

Maybe just install linux? Will be much easier for everyone, you to use and everyone else to help you

Recommending linux to someone who: doesn't know the difference between hardware and a driver, who thinks the programming section is the place to post for driver help, and who can't figure out how to install drivers on a windows system; seems like a bad idea.

why? it will just work and save him from all the shit windows users are exposed to.

case study: i bought a netbook for my mother 2 years ago for xmas; installed linux mint on it. configured for her, and it works to this day with zero issues.
