welcome developers,

i am developing a poker software for private use and looking for another programmer to work with me on this project.

it will work with pokerstars, the main first function is to parse the history files in a local database. this will be the basic part of the software. when done there will be a lot of extension to create using this database.

i am programming with .net since arround six years, so i am an advanced .net developer. you should have at least 1-2 years experience with .net, objective oriented programming, client-server applications and databases.

if interested reply here or send a pm :)

to be clear, is your program going to interact with pokerstars? or is it strictly separate, just parsing log files into a database then doing stuff (reports? charts? etc) with the data?

/edit and what .net language are you using?

my friend plays a different site since he's in the US. might be worthwhile working on an app since it would be mostly reusable, just have a different parser for his log files. unless it interacts with pokerstars, then i can't really reuse it

yes in first step it should only parse the files.

/e
c# it would be possible to write parser for different sites
if the database is running you can just parse different files in the same database, should be np
